Fountains Abbey

Finally got to go to Fountains Abbey this year. Didn't get to go last year after insomnia left me a crumpled mess but this year we went! It wasn't quite as autumnal as my boyfriend was hoping, he said i used alot of artistic licence with my colours:

And he, being into photography was getting very frustrated with the lack of vibrant orange :D

These are of course only sketches, but i rather like this perspective for the abbey, last year i painted this:

More finished, but nice to see the change of colours :) All i'm managing to do at the moment is sketches of landscapes, this will hopefully change after christmas.
