Our allotment

Done some paintings of the allotment i have with my boyfriend. This is it on the first day - tiring work.
The allotment is covered in training ivy which is just sooooo so annoying to get rid of, and it just takes over everything, I found it wrapping itself around our onions the other day! It's pretty though :)

Northumberland

I looooove Northumberland, it is one of my favourite places in the UK, and when i was there last year, i managed to do a couple of more finished paintings, and here they are:

Some random field, i was sitting in the car not wanting to get wet :)

Cragside  - A National Trust property that i would looooove to live in. The interior is gorgeous with a stunning staircase and statues and grounds - uch! Trees so bloomin tall it hurts to crane your neck to see the top, beautiful walks and a lovely formal garden. I wish i had the money to make my own Cragside lol

Holy Island, or Lindisfarne. Such natural beautiful is just stunning, we spent alot of time sitting on those rocks.

Thats it really. I'm going on holiday to Cornwall next month so hopefully there will be some new ones coming home with me then. Hope you like!

Take care

Hello

Hello! Thanks for visiting my blog.

I decided to set this blog up in order to keep my landscape painting work separate to my other, more illustration type of work. In my spare time to do like to draw and paint nature and landscapes, and so, i'd like to share that with you and hopefully swap some helpful tips :)

Sketches of the Aquaduct in Froncysyllt and Bersham.

This last painting is rather special. My boyfriend lost his glasses in this river in Bersham whilst wading into the middle to take a photo of a waterfall! Ha! So i did this to cheer him up ^_^
